DOW Window & Door 1000 Sealant is specifically formulated to seal window and door framework, exterior and interior trim, and finish joints and interfaces of most building materials. It complements the use of GREAT STUFF PRO™ Window & Door Insulating Foam Sealant and WEATHERMATE™ Weather Barrier Solutions. DOW Window & Door 1000 Sealant adheres to most common building materials and cures to a tough, highly flexible seal.

 It adheres well to:
  • Wood (wood framing, wood trim, OSB, plywood, particle board, etc.)
  • Vinyl and plastics (including siding panels, flashings and housewraps)
  • Aluminum and stainless steel (clean or non-corroded surfaces)
  • Masonry (brick, stone and concrete block)
  • Plaster
  • Drywall
  • Painted surfaces
