BLUECOR
Existing Wall (Residing) - Installing BLUECOR™
Exterior Basement Wall - Installing STYROFOAM™ PERIMATE™, Square Edge, SCOREBOARD™, Tongue & Groove or BLUECOR
BLUECOR extruded polystyrene insulation is a foam insulation board with plastic film on both sides. In residing applications, BLUECOR insulation is recommended as an underlayment layer to provide a solid, level surface under the new siding. The fanfolded 50-foot lengths are easy to install and work with on the job site. The high-grade polystyrene formulation coupled with the heat bonding of capsheets (no glue used) permits 90° "folding" around corners without breakage or the need for reinforcement tape.

Building Code Compliance
Meets IBC/IRC requirements for foam plastic insulation. See ICBO-ES ER 2257, BOCA-ES RR 21-02, NES NER 699, Und. Lab. Inc.® Classified, see Classification Certificate U589.
†R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. R-values are expressed in ft2•h•°F/Btu.
††Vertical compressive strength is measured at 10% deformation or at yield, whichever occurs first.
