STYROFOAM™ extruded polystyrene or polyisocyanurate insulation under your new siding can help cut your heating and cooling bills now, and help save money from now on. It's a smart investment that will pay for itself within the first few years and will continue paying back for the lifetime of the home. Wood framing makes up about 25% of a home's walls. Insulating only the cavities means 25% of the wall surface is left uninsulated. A continuous layer of STYROFOAM extruded polystyrene or polyisocyanurate insulation installed over old siding or directly to studs reduces energy loss.
