Super TUFF-R™ Insulation is one of the most durable - and thermally efficient – insulation products offered for residential applications today. Three-ply poly/aluminum foil facers laminated to the high-performance polyisocyanurate foam core enable exceptional durability and water vapor resistance. One facer is blue while the other facer is radiant barrier-quality reflective foil.
Building Code Compliance
Complies with ASTM C1289 Type I, Class 1. Meets IBC/IRC requirements for foam plastic insulation. See ICC-ES NER-616. Calif. Std. Reg. # CA T383. Florida Building Code FL 3839.Related Information

(1) Not available in Wash., Ore., Mont., Wyo., Idaho, Calif., Nev., Utah or Ariz. (2) R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. R-values are expressed in ft2• h•°F/Btu. R-value determined by ASTM C518. (3) Vertical compressive strength is measured at 10% deformation or at yield, whichever occurs first. |
