STYROFOAMâ„¢ Brand STUCCOMATEâ„¢ Insulation helps creates a drier, more thermally efficient stucco wall. Designed for use as a non-absorbent sheathing base beneath one- or three-coat stucco systems applied on residential frame walls, the extruded polystyrene foam insulation features:
-
Grooved horizontal channels spaced 2" on center on the outside face of the boards – for fast and easy application of stucco directly over lath to the exterior face of the insulation
-
Vertical channels spaced 8" on center on the inside or back face of the boards – to help manage moisture movement if water penetrates behind the sheathing
-
Tongue and groove edges – to help reduce air and moisture infiltration
Building Code Compliance
Meets IBC/IRC requirements for foam plastic insulation. See ESR-2142, BOCA-ES RR 21-02, ICBO-ES ER-2257. UL Classified, see Classification Certificate D369. Calif. Std. Reg. # CA T064. Florida Building Code FL 3835.

(1) R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. R-values are expressed in ft2 • h•°F/Btu. RSI values are expressed in m2 °C/W. R-value determined by ASTM C518. (2) Vertical compressive strength is measured at 10% deformation or at yield, whichever occurs first. |
