Beauty Inside and Out

Polymer stucco and Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) can enhance beauty and flexibility in exterior wall design, but these types of wall construction cannot provide full thermal protection for a home.

When only wall cavities are insulated, fully one quarter of the wall surface is left uninsulated.  That's because wood framing studs, window frames, door frames and headers make up 25 percent of the wall surface in typical residential wood frame construction.

Dow offers rigid foam insulation designed to create a durable insulating substrate for stucco and select EIFS wall systems, with sealants, tapes and flashings for enhanced protection and beautiful performance inside and out.
