Hybrid sandwich panels using rigid foam insulation offer many desirable performance characteristics, such as strength, light weight, versatility and thermal performance. Easily assembled panelized walls also help speed up the construction process – and reduce labor costs.

Extruded polystyrene and polyisocyanurate insulation products from Dow are ideal core materials for a wide range of sandwich and tilt-up structural panels, including those designed for low-temperature applications. These insulation products have a high resistance to heat transmission and are moisture resistant, lightweight, and easy to move, store, cut and handle.
