The Best Convention
When a conventional roof is in your plans, the right insulation can mean the difference between a long-lasting and energy-efficient roof... and one that just doesn't meet expectations.
In a conventional roof, insulation is placed over the roof deck and under the waterproof covering (typically a membrane) that is mechanically attached, ballasted or fully adhered. As a result, the insulation must offer high insulation value, strength, durability, proven performance in moist environments and long-lasing insulating performance. Dow offers solutions for both conventional low slope and steep slope applications.
