Most STYROFOAM™ Brand Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) products are produced in Dow's distinctive trademark BLUE™ color. STYROFOAM Brand Foam may also be produced in other colors, depending on the application. |

If you're writing about insulating a basement, steel stud or masonry wall construction, building a floating dock ... or designing gorgeous floral arrangements, there's a good chance a STYROFOAM™ Brand product is an essential part of that application. If you're not sure, please contact us. |

Disposable foam containers for food, packaging or other uses are likely made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) or another plastic material. These are not STYROFOAM™ Brand products, and in fact this type of expanded polystyrene has a very different structure from extruded polystyrene.
Please do not use the STYROFOAM™ name when referring to disposable foam packing peanuts, cups, coolers, food clamshells and related products.
