The plus-roof concept with ROOFMATE™ SL-A boards over the waterproofing membrane is an economic refurbishment solution. This construction allows existing roofs to be converted to the level of low energy consuming buildings at little cost.
After the old roofing membranes have been prepared professionally for refurbishment, i.e. bubbles, dents and folds have been removed, a new waterproofing membrane is laid over the existing membrane. Then any type of inverted roof can be built over the restored waterproofing layer.
